Lighthouse Home Educating Families has organized achievement testing for our members for the past two years. In the past, we have utilized the California Achievement Test (CAT).

While there are many ways to assess progress in learning, achievement testing is sometimes a helpful tool to assess a student's academic strengths or weaknesses. Of course, testing does not measure gains in wisdom and godly character, which should always be our primary goal.
